Stand by Your Trans: Supporting a Partner who lives outside of the gender binary

I am cisgender and my partner identifies as trans. This means my intrinsic sense of self and gender align with the sex I was assigned at birth and his does not.

I started doing research in an effort to learn more about gender identity so that I could be more supportive in his journey. In the process I came to realize that I am on a journey of my own.

I quickly found that there are limited resources out there that seem to fit for me/us.

I have created this space in order to collect and organize information and resources, make connections to people who may have similar thoughts or experiences, and to explore ways to be a better ally to transgender, transexual, genderqueer & gender non-conforming people in my community.
